Threaded Casing for Export
CSM Drilling Program - N.Z.
| In October 2009 East Coast Pipe Supplies was contracted to supply Sharpe Flush Joint (SFJ) threaded casing in sizes 4-1/2” and 6-5/8” for a coal seam methane drilling program in New Zealand. The casing had to be manufactured to a specific length in order to fit inside the shipping container, and steel thread protectors had to be developed to protect the premium thread during transport. All the threading was completed at Sharpe Engineering’s Brisbane threading facility, located on our premises. The project was completed on time and the casing arrived in New Zealand in perfect condition.” |
